Energy Audits

Level III - Energy Audit

The Level III audit is the most thorough audit, and consists of a detailed engineering analysis that focuses on potential capital-intensive projects. The most costly of the three audits, it requires more detailed field data gathering and complicated engineering analysis. As such, it is typically used for complex facilities or systems. Computer simulation software is used to predict building system performance before and after the implementation of ECMs. Often, clients want us to focus on a particular system such as lighting, heating, air conditioning, or system processes. These audits entail system analyses, testing, and the use of extended stay or permanent metering equipment to verify system operation and historical usage.
