Employment - Energy Efficiency Engineers

Work consists of conducting energy audits, preparing Energy Star document submittals, identifying energy reduction opportunities, calculating cost benefit analyses, and preparing written reports.

Preferable applicants should have the following:

  • A BS degree in mechanical engineering or related hands-on experience as a facilities engineer

  • CEM, CEA, CRM, BPI certifications are desirable

  • PE license is highly desirable

  • A working knowledge of energy modeling software such as TREAT, Energy Plus, EQuest, Trace, or HAP.

  • Accreditation as a LEED-AP

  • Knowledge or experience with energy use analysis and Energy Star programs.

  • Ability to read, understand and navigate a set of building and MEP drawings.

  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems and contracts, indoor air quality management, and sustainable design.

  • Excel and Word skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
